One year of construction at New Melton Hospital

It has been 12 months since major construction on the new Melton Hospital got underway:

• Structural steel and concrete works powering ahead 
• Six cranes lighting up the sky
• Around 350 workers on-site each day
• 473,500+ hours of work completed on-site
• 53,770+ square metres of concrete poured

The new Melton Hospital project is also investing in young people – so far more than 18,700 hours of work on-site has been completed by apprentices, trainees and cadets.

Construction is on track for completion in 2029.
