Kate Evans

Kate Evans is an accomplished finance and operational lead with over 15 years of experience managing complex financial, operations and infrastructure projects across sectors including PPPs, renewable energy, and civil infrastructure.

Kate delivers impactful strategic guidance and governance leadership across Capella Capital. As a Chartered Accountant and an Associate of the Governance Institute of Australia, she combines technical acumen with a collaborative leadership style to enhance operational efficiency and maximise stakeholder value. She has a track record of driving change, managing compliance, and building high-performance teams, all while ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

Kate leads a team that oversees finance, compliance, company secretarial, and operational functions for the Capella Capital group. Her focus includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic advice to leadership. As AML/CTF Officer, she also ensures regulatory compliance and manages the Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) for Capella Capital. 

Kate previously served as Head of Finance (APAC/EME) at John Laing, where she held a global leadership role and was a member of the organisation for approximately 10 years.
