Chris Oliver

Chris is the Head of the Origination team at Capella Capital and has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry of which the last 20 has focused exclusively on infrastructure project finance. During this time, he has successfully structured, negotiated, executed and invested in over $25 billion of economic and social infrastructure projects.

Chris has a thorough, ground-up understanding of all facets of infrastructure development and finance enabling him to undertake consortium and Capella team leadership roles. He also brings strong oversight of commercial negotiations and financial structuring to drive best for project solutions.

Chris is particularly experienced in developing innovative solutions to the infrastructure market’s most complicated greenfield projects and has one of the most successful track records in this market including leading the Spark consortium for the largest ever Australian PPP, the $11.1 billion North East Link Primary Package.

Given Chris’ experience and successful track record, Chris has formed strong, lasting relationships across multiple projects with key market clients, sponsors, investors and lenders.
