The new Frankston Hospital, now known as Peninsula University Hospital, is open.

We welcomed the Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan and the Minister for Health Mary-Anne Thomas to Frankston on the weekend to announce that the hospital was ready for patients. We are incredibly proud that there developed hospital will serve the community for generations, with the capacity to treat 35,000 more patients every year, a range of other new or expanded services, 15 new operating theatres, and once fully operational, 130 more beds.

From April 2022, Capella Capital has been on the journey with our consortium partners Lendlease, Aware Super, Compass and Honeywell and our project partners VIDA Health and Bayside Health. We thank each of them, and every one of their team members, for the expertise, dedication and passion they displayed along the way.

This project will truly transform health services in Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula.
