Sarah joined Capella Capital as General Counsel in January 2015 and has over 15 years’ experience in advising government and private sector clients in relation to legal and commercial issues arising in respect of the procurement and delivery of large scale infrastructure projects including projects procured as Public Private Partnerships.

Since joining Capella, Sarah led the commercial and legal working group formed by the East West Connect consortium, being the successful bidder for the East West Link Project. In performing that role, Sarah led the review of the State Project Documents, liaison with external legal providers and negotiations with the State and other third parties involved in the project. Sarah also led negotiations with the downstream subcontractors in relation to the key downstream subcontracts.

Prior to joining Capella, Sarah was a senior counsel with Clayton Utz and was the lead construction/infrastructure lawyer acting as part of a team of lawyers engaged in relation to a number of recent Australian PPPs.
