Development Coordinator (SCUH)

As the Development Manager for the Sunshine Coast University Hospital PPP project, Phil’s focus is on clinical design development and stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment of design outcomes with the functional brief requirements. Phil’s PPP experience includes the planning and delivery of the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital as part of the Manchester Joint Hospitals Project.

A former clinician with experience in operational management, Phil has successfully delivered a number of service modernisation projects, including developing workplace efficiencies to achieve productivity targets for the NHS in the UK. Gaining a detailed understanding of health infrastructure, particularly within Australia, Phil has supported a number of Queensland Health projects since 2010, as a technical advisor and clinical planner, notably the Sunshine Coast University Private, Sunshine Coast University and Queensland Children’s hospital projects. He has also played an active role for Queensland Health in the transition of Health Infrastructure Branch into its new structure.
