Head of Asset Management - Finance
Melissa is Head of Asset Management – Finance. Melissa has a proven track record and a wealth of experience in financial asset management of PPP and major infrastructure projects giving her the necessary specialist skills. Her industry experience covers the transport, health, government and not-for-profit sectors.
Melissa has successfully managed the financial functions of a variety of PPP Projects. In addition to managing the day to day finance functions of the projects, Melissa ensures that the Projects are operating in accordance with the finance and equity documents. She plays a critical interface role, contributing a high level of interpersonal and team building skills when liaising with diverse design, construction and commercial teams.
Melissa currently manages a team of 2 and is responsible for the financial management of a number of PPP projects including; The Metro Tunnel, PPP Tunnels and Stations; LLPIIC; Bendigo Hospital; Darling Harbour Live; and Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Previously with Downer Infrastructure Australia, as the Finance Manager for the Rail Projects Division, Melissa was responsible for forecasting, reviewing and reporting on budgets totalling approximately $120m per year.
A highlight of Melissa’s career was delivery of the My Thuan Bridge Project in Vietnam, an Australian Aid Project valued at $80 million. As the Project Accountant for Baulderstone Hornibrook, Melissa managed the project accounting functions, including balance sheet and tax reporting. Due to the diverse cultural origins within the design, construction and commercial teams she played a critical interface role, contributing a high level of interpersonal and team building skills.
