Chris Jones

Head of Asset Management

Chris is Head of Asset Management at Capella Capital and has considerable experience in PPP and general infrastructure projects. In particular, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge in the transport, health and education sectors both within Australia and offshore. His broader industry experience covers infrastructure, utilities, government and not for profit customers.

Over the years, Chris has gained significant experience in a variety of roles. These roles have encompassed leading the execution of project financings and their ongoing management, as well as identifying capital and structuring opportunities across transactional, working capital, asset and term financing requirements.

Since joining the Capella Capital team in 2018, Chris is responsible for overseeing Capella Capitals’s Asset Management team, comprising approximately 40 asset management specialists). Additionally, Chris also has the overall responsibility for a wide variety of assets including hospitals, convention centres, car parks and prisons.

With over 20 years in the industry, prior to joining Capella Chris was a Director at both Commonwealth and Westpac within their infrastructure teams. Chris has also held positions at Hastings Fund Management, Ernst & Young and within the construction and offshore banking sectors. This strong range of skills allows Chris to have an integrated, and holistic approach, to all aspects of his role at Capella Capital.
