Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone
Capella Capital is the financial advisor to the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (ACEREZ) consortium who entered into a Commitment Deed with EnergyCo in December 2023 to deliver the Central-West Orana REZ transmission Project.
As the first contestable transmission Project for the Renewable Energy Zones, this is a pathfinder project, leading the way in the Energy Transition. Capella Capital has been intimately involved in the development of this Project up to and including financial close.
The Project requires an integration into the broader NSW Transmission Network (Transgrid) and with the incoming renewable energy generators.
