Bendigo Hospital Project

Currently the largest development of its kind in Victoria, the Bendigo Hospital Project is designed, built and operated by Exemplar Health, a consortium, comprising Capella Capital as the sponsor and financial adviser, partnered with Lendlease, Spotless and Siemens for delivery.

Exemplar Health is delivering a broad range of facility management services, enabling the operator, Bendigo Health to focus on the provision of quality healthcare services to Victoria’s central and northern regional communities. With the aim to improve services and amenities for patients, staff and visitors, Exemplar Health is delivering associated commercial developments such as a multi-deck carpark, helipad, wellness centre,15 low-cost accommodation units, conference centre and supermarket. Already established as part of the project’s stage-one development, is a thriving 128-room hotel and a busy childcare centre with capacity for 100 enrolments.

Made possible through a State investment of $630 million (capital expenditure) the new Bendigo Hospital will enhance the provision of health services in Victoria’s Loddon Mallee region for years to come.

With stage one delivered ahead of schedule, stage two operations are due for a successful completion in June 2018.
